Abstract:

ABSTRACT Carcinoma of the cervix is a common neoplasm and accounts for a considerable number of cervical diseases that lead to death in developing countries. In these countries early detection and improved methods of treatment have resulted in comparatively better control of the cancer and long survival however, invasive and metastatic disease still occurs. The authors present the case report of a 44-year-old woman with clear cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix with metastasis to the abdominal wall.
